Our Objectives

The primary objective of QNCC is to promote the culture, goodwill, and harmony of the Nepalese community in Queensland and across Australia, while fostering friendship between the peoples of Nepal and Australia. To achieve this, our specific objectives are:

  1. Establish a Cultural Hub: To plan, develop, and manage a cultural centre that serves as a symbol of identity and a dedicated space for cultural practices for both the Nepalese community and the wider public.
  2. Preserve Heritage: To protect and promote Nepalese traditions by providing facilities for cultural and religious practices, including temples, gumbas, and other sites of cultural significance.
  3. Foster Cooperation: To pursue mutual support and collaboration with Nepalese community groups and like-minded organisations in Australia and Nepal, while upholding Australian values and multiculturalism.
  4. Community Engagement: To design and implement cultural events and programs tailored to the evolving needs of the community.
