Life Members
We currently have 617 life members, comprising 561 family members and 56 individual members. We would like to thank all life members for their generous support.
Fundraising
We have raised approximately $1.8 million Australian Dollars through the membership drive and donations. The majority of the funds have been used to purchase the land and cover the costs of consultants for the development application (DA).
Land Purchase
We have purchased a 4-hectare property at 283-293 Logan Reserve Road, Logan Reserve, approximately 10 kilometres from Brisbane city. The total expenses related to the land purchase are as follows:
- Land price: $1,450,000
- Stamp Duty: $63,900
- Lodgement Fees: $5,800
- Solicitor and Settlement Fees: $893

Development Application
he Development Application for the proposed Community Use and Place of Worship was formally submitted to Logan City Council on 31 July 2024.
Since the initial submission, the application has progressed through several stages of assessment, including multiple Requests for Information (RFI) issued by Council. Our team has worked closely with consultants and council officers to provide detailed responses and ensure all planning requirements are addressed.

- Flooding and stormwater management
- Road widening and traffic impacts
- Environmental considerations such as noise, waste management, and vegetation
- Land use
- Compliance with the overall outcomes of the low density residential zone code of Logan City Council
In response to this feedback, a number of revisions and improvements have been made to the original proposal. These changes were undertaken to ensure the development aligns with council requirements and community expectations.
We are pleased to advise that the matters raised during the assessment process have now been addressed to the satisfaction of the relevant authorities.
Based on current advice from the assessment officer, the application is expected to be presented to the Planning Committee, followed by a Council Meeting for final determination. This is anticipated to occur during the April 2026 council meeting cycle.
We will continue to provide updates as the application progresses through the final stages of assessment.

In addition to these, we have been organising a number of social and fundraising activities on a regular basis.
