We are pleased to announce that Logan City Council has officially approved our Development Application (MCUI/44/2024) for the Place of Worship and Community Use at 283–293 Logan Reserve Road, Logan Reserve, subject to conditions! 
This decision was confirmed by Council on 17 June 2026, with the formal Decision Notice issued on 23 June 2026.
This milestone is the result of almost two years of waiting and considerable hard work behind the scenes, along with over $200,000 invested by our community in consulting fees.
Congratulations to everyone who has been involved, directly or indirectly, in this journey. This achievement truly belongs to our entire local Nepalese community.
Please note this approval is subject to the statutory appeal period under the Planning Act 2016 and will become final once that period has passed.
With the appeal period underway, we will soon be calling a community meeting to plan our next steps — including fundraising for detailed engineering design and matching funds for our government grant application. We’ll need everyone’s support to keep the momentum going!
